In the municipality of Benicarló (province of Castellón, Valencian Community) between the towns of Vinaroz and Peñíscola, is set this majestic property, on a 12.800 m² plot. There are several outbuildings around a main house of 1.250 m², as well as a unique tropical garden.
The auxiliary buildings add up to 580 additional m², distributed into a second independent housing, a house for gardening service and a greenhouse. The main house is a colonial style mansion or small palace built in 1952 by architect Jose Maria Franquet. It consists of a ground floor, an upper floor, an attic and a basement where the boiler of the central heating and the wine cellar are located. The house is very well designed, having all the rooms around the central core with no need to get lost in side corridors.
The property has three separate entrances. All of them give way to the French style botanical garden, which surrounds the house and generates the feeling of being in a totally private and exclusive microclimate. The vegetation comprises numerous tropical species, there are areas with different environments and atmospheres, sculptures and fountains made by the artist Agustín Ballester Besalduch.
